The wonderful picture below was brought to our attention by Mr Ray Lawrence of Welsh Mining Books. It is a picture rarely seen before and is an aerial shot taken in June 1964. The picture clearly shows the viaduct, the Navigation Colliery and Aberbeeg South colliery (Budds) in the background as well as the communities of Crumlin and Soffrydd.
